BIOGRAPHY

My name is Colin Williams and I have been exploring the wonderful world of oil painting for 4 years now.  I love the endless techniques used by brush and knife to depict beautiful sceneries and objects.

I take both my visual experiences and my photography, and translate them onto canvas at my art studio based in Calgary.

My style of art doesn’t pull from any formal educational influence. I started painting in my late twenties but my art tends to show off a younger, quirkier self. 
As I continue to understand the endless techniques of oil painting, and study the countless subjects worth exploring, perhaps my style of art will age with me.
